Screen Reader Instructions for Databases

JSTOR

JSTOR does not have any built-in screen reading features, but is highly functional with outside software, such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. If one of their PDFs does not work with a screenreader, you can request to have it manually tagged and altered for a smoother screen reading experience. Learn how to navigate their platform with screen readers on their Accessibility Guide.

Project MUSE

Project MUSE does not have any built-in screen reading features, but should be accessible with outside software. If one of their resources is not accessible, you can request to have it Project MUSE review it and potentially work with you to make it more accessible. Learn more about their policies on their Accessibility Guide.

Sage

Sage does not have any built-in screen reading features, but should work well with outside software. Learn how to navigate their platform with screen readers, and their platform's limitations, on their Accessibility Guide.
