In Class Activity 1

Working in small groups please complete the following steps:

  1. Choose one resource from the Reference Resources column (remember there are 3 tabs of resources).
    1. Using the selected resource search for information to help contextualize the primary source document we looked at together.
    2. Woman Suffrage in New Jersey, 1867.
  2. Search Wikipedia using the same or similar search terms to those you used in the Reference Resource.
    1. Using the Wikipedia search for information to help contextualize the primary source document we looked at together.
    2. Woman Suffrage in New Jersey, 1867.
  3. Select a group spokesperson and be prepared to share with the whole class what resource you used and what you found.

Tip: in your breakout room consider having one person act as navigator, they can share their screen and the group can search a resource together.
