Open Educational Resources in Smith ScholarWorks

Smith ScholarWorks

Faculty can now deposit their own OERS into Smith ScholarWorks. OERS are more than just open Textbooks. Open lesson plans and curriculums can be part of an OER collection; video or audio lectures of class material; as well supplementary support of open materials, research, and data are all examples of open educational resources.

Smith ScholarWorks has three collection types in our OER collections:

  • Open Educational Resources: Materials
Can include: Labs, interactive, curriculums, study plans, and other single resource materials
  • Open Educational Resources: Textbooks
  • Open Educational Resources: Courses
Can include: Lecture series and full course materials

Explore OERS in Smith ScholarWorks.

Smith ScholarWorks can help you add materials already created, or create a new platform for your open teaching tools and materials.

To find out more about how you can add your own materials contact ScholarWorks staff at scholarworks@smith.edu.

OER Commons

Smith ScholarWorks is now a part of the OER Commons; all Smith OERS are added to the commons, increasing accessibility and discoverability while promoting our commitment to open access resources.
