In this class we are going to take a big step in moving from concentrating on your textbook into locating articles and materials that you can read in Japanese. This involves a number of skills:
- building up your vocabulary in Japanese
- thinking about what kinds of materials you need
- choosing the best kind of search engine or database for searching
- scanning articles to choose the right reading level for you
- using dictionaries skillfully
