“Reserves” are typically required course readings or media. Items are often put on reserve by faculty members to ensure those items are easily accessible to students. Reserves or required material are high demand items.
Print reserves refer to our collection of books and films which can be borrowed for a limited period within and outside the library buildings. These items are NOT requestable and are available on first come first serve basis.
The primary physical collection is housed at the service point on the ground floor of Neilson Library. Other reserves based on subject area are at Josten or Hillyer Libraries. See the webpage for additional information.
*Note: for Fall 2020 & Spring 2021 there will be no print reserves due to COVID-19.* Please see our Library Services during COVID-19 page for more info.
Using Moodle:
Alternatively, you can look up materials directly by course number, name, instructor or subject on the Libraries course reserves list.
The Libraries’ reserves team supports faculty with print and electronic course materials, including books, chapters, films, and more.
