Mind the Gap!
Biographical entries on women and about women's history in general are not well-represented in Wikipedia, which is one of the top research portals for students and the general public (and Wikipedia entries are often the top result in a Google search). In addition, a 2011 study by the Wikimedia Foundation found that only 13% of Wikipedia contributors were women.
