Online catalog entries provide basic information about works of art in the SCMA collection including:

  • artist and title
  • image - a digital image for reference as you prepare your paper
  • description -- details on materials and methods used to create the work, size, conservation
  • subject (iconography)
  • context - the time and place it was created
  • ownership - when and why the work was created and its journey to the SCMA (provenance)
